Also abbreviated as ETC, Ethereum Classic is a result of hard-fork on original Ethereum chain, that led to splitting of the chain into original Ethereum (ETH) and the new Ethereum Classic (ETC). ETC has since held its own and doubled up on maintaining its use case and real case uses. With the Jaxx and Electron wallets in place, there's so much more that's achievable.

- Continuing to use proof-of-work, in the future it may be possible to develop a hybrid between proof-of-work and proof-of-stake. The minting block moves to the stakeholder operating under the mortgage principle Decentralized construction for diggers
