Overall, I believe the projects has no notable difference from Bitcoin, the first cryptocurrency. Therefore, I do not think that Litecoin is the best project and does not hold as much potential as other altcoins.
Pros
- Litecoin accounts for arund 30% of dark web transactions, which is much higher than any other currency. With Bitcoin slowly disappearing from the dark internet due to the fact its the most audited financial document in the world, the battle for its market share seems to be between Dash, Monero, and Litecoin, with the latter with a firm hold of the pole position.
Cons
- The fact that it is used to purchase illigal goods hurts the reputation of the project. Notably, Charlie Lee, the projects founder sold his Litecoin for bitcoin.
