I'm using Refereum since more than a year now, and i have to say: The development goes in the right direction. The new redesign of the website is a big improvement.

If you are a streamer or a stream watcher, you can earn tokens by doing the things you're doing anyway.
﻿
Of course there is a bigger 
competitor called "sliver TV" but i think they follow another strategy. On sliver TV, you can participate in lotteries and have to open crates with small random rewards, most time you won't win anything. 
You always have the feeling that you need to have a lot of luck to win big prizes. Refereum guarantees a reward if you are an active user.
You can buy games for steam with your tokens and there is a nice discount compared to the regular price on steam.

If you want to earn some tokens without watching streams every day, you can participate in social tasks. Then you need to like Facebook, Twitter, Reddit, YouTube or Instagram sites of specific games or projects, but don't expect to earn big the rewards with it.

Conclusion:
I really like Refereum, but its still in an early stage and could be better and bigger. With the new website design, there are still some bugs, i hope they will be fixes soon. 
Notwithstanding that, its hard to find any disadvantages of this project, because it rewards you without the need of giving sensible informations, taking annoying survey or viewing awful ads. 
If you are a streamer of a viewer, its a nice addition to get rewarded for things you're doing anyway. So its definitely worth a try.

I hope my review helps some people to get a first impression of this relatively unknown project. Don't get me wrong, sliver is also a great project and I'm using it too. But if you had bad experience with it or just don't like it, maybe here you have an alternative. Thank you for reading my review.

It seems that the developer of this coin have missed the train. There is no real progress and the "new" market place everybody have been waiting for doesn't contain any new features. Unfortunately, there is no feature which makes Refereum better than its competitors. They can do better!

Pros

Great project for game streamers and stream viewers.
You can buy games on steam with your earned tokens.
There are a lot of social tasks to earn tokens for non streamers.
Latest redesign of refereums website is a big improvement.
CEO of project is a young, smart and sympathetic guy.

Cons

Competitor "sliver TV/Theta" performs better. Some people like sliver, some like refereum.
You need to earn points on Refereum, the more points you have, the more tokens you will get. You need to participate for a period of 30 days or longer to earn a good amount. Its not worth it, if you are watching streams from time to time.
The token is under the radar, it could perform much better.
Currently prize section where you can buy things with tokens is down. Its under development and will be improved.
