Steemit makes creating content rewarding
If you are somebody who likes posting content on Facebook, Instagram etc Steemit is a better place for you. It is a blockchain based social media platform that reward people that create online content like news, job advert, questions and answers and blogs in general.II also allow vote for contents.
It reward content creators with it's cryptocurrency known as steem. The more the content gets likes and gather followers, the more the creator gets more steem reward.
The project produce coin every day. 75% of the coins are divided between the curator, 15% goes to the holders of the steem power while the remaining 10% goes to miners. It uses delegated proof of stake for governance.
The project was launched in 2014 by Dan La, the founder of bitshare. Steemit has many things in common with Reddit except that content creators gets rewarded.
