They become a competition for ethereun and now they offer the possibility, due to their high processing speed, to create powerful and decentralized dapps where content can be shared and received payments through the TRX cryptocurrency. TRX cryptos can be purchased from your own Tron wallet and any Exchange that allows it. In fact, one of my main Coinomi wallets already accepts it between the currencies and allows them to be entered for the moment as trc10 tokens and they warn that soon in the future they will be able to receive the TRC20 tokens, recently announced by Revain as an option to withdraw the Revain to pass the Revain to token trc20.
