Broke instantly for valve train tools

It works but broke on the first try. Welds are not strong. You must weld the base to the ring before even attempting to use it or it will break.

Pros
  • Overall length: 250mm/9.8 inch
Cons
  • So far so good

False advertising by the seller.

The item I was sent was neither pictured nor described. Basically, I got the tool from the dollar store at the price of a well-known brand. I have already requested a refund and will not be buying from them again!

Pros
  • Made of high-quality, satin-finished steel
Cons
  • Keep quiet

Broke the first time: Motor Tools

Rings broke on the first spring I tried to replace. The bars immediately broke off two rings when trying to compress the springs. I had to go to a local store to get a better one. Be careful when using it.

Pros
  • Reversible Jaw/Adaptor
Cons
  • Will write later

Difficult to get the lever and the insert broke the first time with

. The handles will likely need to be thicker and longer for this application. This may be fine with weak valve springs, but is too cumbersome with smaller springs. Would definitely not recommend for dual spring/hard spring setups. The insert that fits over the valve spring is the weakest point. The metal rods connecting the ends have 1 tiny pin and it will break. If you only use it on weaker springs, you can use it again without breaking.

Pros
  • . The jaws are chemically blackened to prevent corrosion.
Cons
  • . The string is shorter than other picks.
