Makes pulling the gimbal a breeze

Gone are the days of using a socket wrench and a hammer. After a few very rusty frogs, never again. This Class 1-3 version is perfect for my two small SUVs and fits seamlessly into the joints. The screw is made of good chrome-molybdenum, which easily withstands high torque loads. However, I would suggest lubricating the threads before each use to prolong life. The coating is very durable and has easily withstood impacts on concrete. Overall very happy with this purchase. Benefits: - Huge time…

Worth every penny! to tools and equipment

Absolutely amazing instrument! I'm an auto technician by trade, so I buy LOTS of tools. My personal F350 had to replace the front axle shaft drive shaft. Dana 60 axle joints, especially after 25 years, rust on the spot and are known to eat hard and mostly laugh in the face even of large workshop presses. Or they send the rig you use to make them fly around the shop/your face/neighbor's yard without moving. However, with this tool I was able to remove a badly stuck, rusty joint in less than a…

Where has it been all my life?

As a professional automotive technician, I regret not purchasing this tool sooner. At this price, this tool pays for itself in time savings on a few jobs. In the past I've struggled with adapters on a ball joint press or the hammer and vise method. I recently broke a gimbal on my personal 2001 f350. I heard about this brand from a few people in the HD world who swear by Tiger tool. I decided to order this to test on my own truck. My U-joints were a bit rusty. With this tool I was able to…

Works but be careful

I used this tool on a 2003 Dodge 3500 4WD front axle universal joint. The tool is definitely heavy and I can't complain about its strength and durability, this piece is impressive. It doesn't work that well for this particular truck. American Axle universal joints for this axle are pressed to very tight tolerances. In addition, they rust and jam. This tool will pop them out, but if you're not very careful and use a flashlight to heat the fork (use lots of heat) you will end up damaging the fork
