Review on πŸš— Enhance Your Vehicle's Braking Performance with Power Stop KOE4015 Autospecialty Brake Kit - OE Brake Rotors & Ceramic Pads by Robert Castro

Revainrating 1 out of 5

Not real ceramic pads. High brake dust.

So it looks very good on the outside. Up to a point. I'm an ASE certified technician so I know how to change brakes. I've been doing this for years and have been a Chrysler Gold Certified Technician for 5 years. As a result, the brake pads sit very firmly on the guides. It must be ensured that the sliding plates are pushed in completely. You can use a small hammer to tap on these and over the small ledge at the base of the slider. You can also file the edges of the brake pads so they slide. If you don't do this, your pad will stick and not detach from the rotor. This causes a lot of wear and doesn't last long. I think this is an issue others have had when they had short pad life. Well, to stop the power, this brake kit is very good. Driven the van a few thousand miles and is holding up great. The downside is that it's not a true ceramic material. They leave behind a lot of brake dust. The previous pads I had on the van left almost no dust on the wheels. Therefore I give this 1 star because they are not real ceramic pads. They are a hybrid of ceramics and other metallic and non-metallic materials. Really for the price we should know that they are not ceramic.
