Looks like they were made for a jeep.
The missing windshield wipers had to be replaced on a 1953 Jeep. The fit and operation was really good. The threaded stem was longer than necessary and the switch was not needed. This block was almost identical to the one found on a 1946 Jeep I had owned for 40 years.
