Thank you. This is an OEM factory replacement for the 2017 Ford Escape. It is located to the right behind the firewall and at the end of the console where it meets the firewall. One T-20 screw, squeeze two tabs and remove the cover. You don't remove the glove box, you just have to pull the carpet back about a foot, fold it down and you'll find the filter popping out which you have to crush, the unit is designed not to get carried away. The arrow shows the direction the air is going through the filter to the rear of the car, it's not hard, it's just a tight space. Be careful as there is a fuse box and many other items you do not want to disturb.
