Great little air filter replacement if you don't want to jump straight into a cold air intake. I installed it on my 2015 Jetta SE 1.8t. This filter change works with almost all air boxes for 1.8t/2.0t and noticeably improves the intake noise and the turbo noise. I'd say it increased the CAI, but it definitely sounds a lot more impressive than the stock airbox filter. I also removed the small grille on the bottom of the airbox for better airflow. I would not do this in the winter if it snows heavily in your area. The grille is a protective layer against ice that may have entered your airbox. I will attach a video of a small twist in the cabin so you can hear the difference from stock.
