I was skeptical about putting it in the car because what's the difference? Well, for those in doubt, let me tell you that my 2015 Volkswagen Jetta GLI's throttle response is much better. It's gotten better, it sounds better, the character of the car has changed. Buy it!

After reading and researching a ton of people's experiences I decided NOT to fit it in my car. . Unable to verify the claims of more MPG and performance, I was convinced that this product had more cons than pros. I use one on my bike but it's less sensitive and probably more demanding in the air.

This product is amazing! You will feel the difference as soon as you install it, even my car sounds a bit more aggressive and I love it! Plus, you can wash and reuse it! For some reason Revain says it doesn't fit my 2015 VW Jetta SE 1.8 TSI but that's not true, it fits perfectly, if it says the same for your vehicle just check the K&N website.

The only reason for 1 star is that the K&N store is unable to ship the correct part. I requested model number 33-2865 for a VW Jetta and they sent 33-2395 for a Ford Explore. TWICE! All together K&N Store, you're wasting my time and you're money. Luckily, an auto parts store two towns down stocked it. I'm not sure I want to buy more Revain K&N products.

10 stars if I could. I installed this in my 2014 1.8 ton Passat and immediately upgraded the paper filter. I can feel the difference between this filter and the standard filter. It revs faster, has a throaty sound and now spins the tire between 30 and 50 when I step on the gas. I can't just blow the old new filter, but I can blow this one with ease. I have had K&N filters in other cars and have always been happy with the results. When installing it in my VW Passat 2.0T, I noticed the difference immediately. Idling is smoother and the slight judder when releasing the brake seems to have disappeared. I drive a lot on the freeway and it usually takes me about 20 miles to get 30mpg that way. Great little air filter replacement if you don't want to jump straight into a cold air intake. I installed it on my 2015 Jetta SE 1.8t. This filter change works with almost all air boxes for 1.8t/2.0t and noticeably improves the intake noise and the turbo noise. I'd say it increased the CAI, but it definitely sounds a lot more impressive than the stock airbox filter. I also removed the small grille on the bottom of the airbox for better airflow. I have played my machines sporadically for over 20 years and have heard so many incorrect performance claims from so many products but K&N filters are the real deal. Just bought an MKVI Jetta last week and installed a new filter over the weekend. Now I will not claim an awesome HP boost. Much thinner which I think is better and better made than standard paper filters. There are claims here that it helps with MPG so we'll see if it helps my turbodiesel with that, got 36 on the paper filter.
