10 stars if I could. I installed this in my 2014 1.8 ton Passat and immediately upgraded the paper filter. I can feel the difference between this filter and the standard filter. It revs faster, has a throaty sound and now spins the tire between 30 and 50 when I step on the gas. I can't just blow the old new filter, but I can blow this one with ease. My mileage is also an average of 42-46 35-37. I saw a minor. Improvements on various cars like my old Mustang and my Tradewind 02 but this is the most drastic improvement on any car I've used k&n's on.
