Nice set for the price

My daughter needed a neat, simple tool set for assembly and minor repairs around the home and car. I liked the look of these tools in the pictures because they looked a little more ergonomic and durable than the ones with flimsy foam handles that slip off the handles. They come with a decent pouch to keep everything together and to keep tools from rattling around in the toolbox. So, the tools themselves: Adjustable wrench isn't bad. . There isn't much slippage or play in the jaws. Seamless customization. The grip is comfortable and feels adequate, but not super solid. It should do the job, but I don't think it will stand up to overtreatment. Locking pliers actually seem to be good. brand name. Square pliers (line judges) look and feel very good. Everything fits and fits together perfectly and runs smoothly. The handles are comfortable. Haven't tried it yet but the wire cutters look perfect and I'm confident it will work as it should. Utility tangs were the main reason I chose this set over others in this price range. I wanted 10 inch tongs because that size is much more useful around the house than the smaller size. I like the grips on the handles. The sponges appear to fit and work well with most standard plumbing and automotive fittings. Be the most useful tool in your drawer. These guys are a bit shaky when it comes to adjusting their jaws. Some positions work well and smoothly, while others don't align without a little effort and get stuck a bit until they snap into place. a pivot connecting two sections. To me, this looks like a possible failure point. But I think it's good enough for most of the jobs I expect my daughter to do. However, I think this will be the most likely instrument in this set to be replaced at some point. Even with that in mind, the set is good value. A better quality 10 inch pair of pliers will cost at least as much as the entire set. So if you want to assemble a spare tool set for the home or something other than your main tool set for everyday professional use, you can't go wrong with this tool.
