Doesn't fit snugly on table saw base and has issues with T-extension

This is a review of the PM-3800 + 3245 extension. Overall I am happy with this product. It replaces the Delta Unisaw Mobile Base, which is in the same price range as the Portamate Combo variant. I wanted bigger wheels on the Portamate for better walking around the store. The larger wheels make it much easier to move around the store and the risers/levers are easy to control with your feet. The assembly instructions were clear and easy to understand. Now for the cons: - At its tightest setting, the PM-3800 is one dimension too large for the Delta Unisaw (and most box saws). If you look at the picture of the square base, it looks like it will fit perfectly on a table saw. I ended up putting some wood on the front and back to keep the saw from moving at the base. The tightest setting (to match the saw base) will NOT fit the T-Extension Clamp/Bracket. By default, the shortest side of the base points to the table legs. You must either choose a wider position or mount the base so that the longer side faces the table legs. This means that the wheel locks are in front of and behind the saw. If you move the saw frequently, this can be annoying. A wider setting results in very little support under the saw; I would not recommend that. You can cut the rod to length and cut new holes if you only use the base (and not the extension). The wheels on the extension are not 5 inches. can't carry much weight, so it doesn't pose that much of a problem in terms of rolling resistance. - The mobile base doesn't have much clearance. The big wheels help with rolling resistance, but the legs just hang off the ground (enough to grab a cord if you run over it). I don't want anything below the height of the base mobile axis (while also increasing the overall saw height by 2 inches). So it would be a 5 star product if the base was a shorter length to fit snugly on the table saw base and accommodate the T-bar extension. The extra 1/2 inch clearance is a bonus.
