Review on ๐Ÿš€ Superfast Allegro USB 3.1 PCIe Card with Two USB-C Ports (USB3C-2PM-E) by Kendro Givens

Revainrating 3 out of 5

Works great on a 2010 Mac Pro without drivers

High Sierra does not require drivers. There are no problems with the correct seating of the cables. The connectors on the card sit low on the back of the device, but the USB-C connector doesn't need to be inserted where the plastic meets the card. As you can see in my picture it looks like the cable is not installed properly. Don't worry, that's all it takes.

Pros
  • PCIe Auto-Negotiation Data Link - The card automatically negotiates the data link 1 lane in a PCIe 3.0 slot and 2 lanes in a PCIe 2.0 slot, delivering full 10Gb/s performance in each PCIe Slot
