The wider MTB version works just as well as the thinner road version

weird sidewall hole) After having a few punctures in my MTB tires I decided to try these wider versions. Just like the thinner road bike liners, they work great and have not been punctured since. They're slightly wider than thinner road bikes, with a clear stripe either side of the thicker inside (the colored part). pop a tire - but if you're not overly concerned you can just toss it between the tube and the tire and you're done. Touching the air in the chamber, the position of the chamber in the tire - a small amount of air will hold the sealant in place; Then use a flashlight to look right under the camera to make sure the liner is centered. Then I lift the tire and start inserting one end of the tube into the wheel, not all the way around and just enough to hold everything in place. Then deflate the tube that could interfere with the proper assembly of the rim and assemble the rim as usual. In any case, they are in a relatively correct position. These liners, whatever kind you get, don't "bulletproof" your tires and tubes, but they do make them much sturdier than without them, so only the worst punctures are likely. Only run-flat tires or Amish buggy wheels can handle things like this.

Pros
  • tubes
Cons
  • Not as thick as the others
