My bearded dragon Pete loves this thing. Sometimes I think he prefers heat and UV lamps here. and he likes it. It is good for his stomach to help him digest food. I keep it on all day every day. He's on it like he's hiking what happened to my heat. But for these reasons and in terms of health, the price is definitely unbeatable. I highly recommend it. It sits on it most of the day and I see it on it at night so don't worry it's too hot for your bearded dragon. If it was too hot my Pete would already be roasted for as long as he stays and I'm sure he's had enough to get away when it gets too hot since then.
