It works great with heat lamps and terrarium mats

I placed it in the vivarium to increase the ambient temperature. It works. I like the Pacman frog. He set up his main meeting point above ground and about an inch from it. Note: The fine print says it's not suitable for amphibians. I don't know how to tell him. The rock itself is attractive and looks well built.

  • Stylish and modern design

can seriously injure your lizard!

The product itself arrived in good condition but as a new owner of a bearded dragon, although it is stated on the packaging and recommended for you, it may burn your beard as you don't feel the heat from below nor the heat from above. We still use it for decoration and he likes to sit on it, but it will remain disabled. Please be careful when buying accessories for your pets and check carefully!

Pros
  • A sea of positive emotions
Cons
  • Big and bulky

Dangerous device!

Unfortunately, this stone heater developed extreme heat spots after only a few months of use. My bearded dragon started to avoid him; Watch the video to see why! Don't let the bargain price fool you into thinking that this couldn't happen to you because neither you nor your loved ones can afford it! I hate to think how encouraging my lizard on the rock could undermine his trust in me as caretaker. πŸ˜₯ "Zoo Honey"? Ironic name what!

Pros
  • Easy to use
Cons
  • New competitors have emerged

Really like this product, should have checked a long time ago but have had it for 2 years now and it still does works great, used it for leopard geckos and stuff, we've been using it for chicks and ducklings for a while and it's still working great, I think it was $4.50 when we bought it, anything under $15 is a good price compared to Petco where we live never had issues with it getting too hot or not hot enough, it's perfect

Pros
  • Great price
Cons
  • Long delivery time

Heats up use case

I bought this on a whim for my baby bearded dragon thinking he was still cold in his habitat. I tested it before putting it in because some of the reviews said it was too hot. It gets very, very warm, almost to the point of being hot to the touch. I think this will work fine with a piece of log on top, I did this to prevent my dragon from lying directly on the rock which would cause burns. It just climbs the trunk and stays warm. I think that just a bare stone can harm a small lizard, so I do…

Pros
  • Easy to read control panel
Cons
  • Something else

Appears to run on heat lamps

My bearded dragon Pete loves this thing. Sometimes I think he prefers heat and UV lamps here. and he likes it. It is good for his stomach to help him digest food. I keep it on all day every day. He's on it like he's hiking what happened to my heat. But for these reasons and in terms of health, the price is definitely unbeatable. I highly recommend it. It sits on it most of the day and I see it on it at night so don't worry it's too hot for your bearded dragon. If it was too hot my Pete would…

Awesome secondary heat source

I use this mini rock heater as a secondary heat source for my adult female leopard gecko. In a 10 gallon terrarium I hardly ever need to use the main heat sources as they heat up most of the tank. It's not that hot, but it's going to be really cozy. My gecko has taken to it so well that he often sleeps on it (even when unplugged and cool). I was wary at first because I'd heard horror stories about other heat stones that had bad hotspots and burned the animal, so I left it to heat on my dresser.

Pros
  • cool product
Cons
  • Vulgarity
