Review on 🚵 Maxxis Ardent Race 3C Exo TR Folding Tire, 2.2" Off-road Tire by Mark Estrada

I replaced my 27.5 x 2.35 Schwalbe Nobby Nics with a Maxxis Ardent Race 2.20 rear and a Maxxis Ardent 2.25 front. Our trails here in Wisconsin tend to be heavily clogged with roots and rocks. The Nobby Nics had too much profile and tended to slide around corners. They also had thin sidewalls and developed pinholes in the rear tire sidewall that caused the tire to let air escape. Ardents fit much better. I installed them tubeless and there was no air leakage a few days after installation. Rode it for the first time today and the bike is more agile and the grip is much better. I'm glad I bought them. With so many tire models it was difficult to choose the 'right ones' but I think I made the right choice.
