At first I didn't read all the bad reviews (1-2 stars) and only saw that more than 100 people gave 4-5 stars and ordered this product. Lesson learned. The heights must be from people who left feedback immediately after installing and starting the truck. Not after any period of use. Now I'm happy that mine actually lasted a full year after reading about the days and months of failure. If you don't just want to hear a horrible "click" when you turn the key out of the blue one day, you have bought a restored AC Delco. Spend $300-$400 for peace of mind and a quality product that won't let you down. The original AC Delco starter lasted 22 years. This lasted 12 months. I didn't really know anything about brands, starter features/benefits. I unknowingly found one here that fits my truck and ordered one that could get to me in no time. As with most things, you get what you pay for.
