For those of you having trouble with the tape on the back of the lanterns, simply place the lanterns in the fridge for a few minutes. and take them out and stick a piece of air duct or transparent tape on them and they will come off immediately. I don't know why this is so hard for people to understand so I added this tip for you. installed them to direct the light where I wanted. If I put them under the rails or on the side of the rails they would hit the back of the truck when turning. When mounted on top and out of the way on the lid, they don't shatter against objects in the bed when the lid is closed because I placed them in the recessed part of the lid. The reason I put them on the lid was so they wouldn't be stolen if I ever decided to take the lid off. Also, I don't need them when the cover is off, I can use a flashlight for that. Hope that helps!
