Review on 🔥 Wagner ThermoQuiet QC1284 Ceramic Disc Brake Pads - Set of Performance Brake Pads by Ben Diesel

Revainrating 5 out of 5

They lay the foundation for a good break

I installed them on my teenager's Hyundai Genesis Coupe 2.0T and they fit perfectly. This was my first BJ ever and by BJ I mean "broken in" :) In just over 2 hours I changed all 4 brake pads, it took me a while to get the wheels off (the "special" -wheels, "special" wrenches, blah blah) and learn how to put them back on :) Brakes come with fittings, just make sure you have breakage lube. I like to put grease anywhere there is movement (except the rotor of course) because a drop of grease can cost the equivalent of a very good mechanical. For the front brakes I used Acd***o ceramic pads (single piston). After that I tested them and they are more than satisfactory while being quiet like a mouse pissing in the corner of your garden. If you are on a budget and don't road race, don't run Brembos and don't need the latest in 'rotor penetration' then this is a great option. After all, for less than $60, the car has new brakes that last at least as good as new.

Pros
  • Application Specific CeramicNXT Compound
Cons
  • Upgradeable
