I was happy with the purchase because the factory sends a cheap plastic cap. The DEF filler cap is perfect and works great. The diesel tank cap fits and closes tightly. However, it cannot be taken because it is the same size as the neck and is quite thin. To this day I have never managed to grab it and fill a truck. You always have to take a screwdriver to lift it high enough to grab it. Obviously none of those who built it ever tried to do it. Let me design it for you. one). Make the knurled top about 1/4" to 3/8" larger for easy gripping.2). Place a similar design on the DEF cap so you can unscrew it. Either will work just fine, I think the magnet sucks too. It's not strong enough to stick to the fuel filler flap, so it falls to the ground. 3). Edit the cap for a larger/stronger magnet. I would also design something to keep the magnet from falling out. Over time the diesel fuel will attack the adhesive on the magnet and end up in my filler neck and tank. I was happy to receive it and disappointed with the functionality. I would buy elsewhere who have changed their diesel cap to do what I have noted.
