Review on Enhanced Microsoft USB-C Travel Hub for Seamless Connectivity by Allan Lambert

I ordered this because it sounds incredible in theory - perfect for travel and with the HDMI connection I was looking for the most. For some reason, other Surface docks don't have an HDMI port. However, as soon as I connected it to my computer, I heard this high-pitched coil noise coming from the hub. I thought I could ignore it but it was very loud and only got amplified when I was streaming video on my second monitor. I ordered a replacement, thinking it might just be a one-time defective unit. The replacement has the same identical high-pitched screech. I know some people can't hear the electronic squeaks, but I definitely hear it and it's starting to drive me insane. Not recommended if you have sensitive hearing.
