This is a great little test tube rack perfect for API aquarium tubes. Many previous reviews have mentioned that drying racks are useless as the older design didn't allow airflow into the inverted tubes to dry them. This new design appears to have added a riser on one side of the uprights to elevate the tubes above the base to allow airflow. But as some other reviewers have also pointed out, the six offset positions aren't in the best configuration. It would be nice to have a straight line of holes with gaps in between so the water parameters can be read from the reference chart without removing it from the rack. In any case, the tubes cannot be easily aligned or compared with a reference card held on the back. The future design should have a straight line with appropriately spaced holes and a post on the back for the reference card to be held in place. behind the test tubes for easier reading.
