works great. My old gas cap on my 2000 Excursion broke the seals and when it rained water seeped into my tank causing a very rough idle. After consuming 4-5 cans of meerschaum I ordered these and the problem went away. I didn't really want a locking cap but agreed and it's a bit tricky. Sometimes I can keep it unlocked and sometimes I have to unlock it every time.
