Great product for unusual uses

I bought these wooden jars to accurately replicate 18th century embroidery and fabric covered buttons. They are so much fun to make and people love watching the process. As the button lady, I demonstrate the making of various types of buttons at Revolutionary War events in the Philadelphia area. From start to finish, I make different looks and distribute patterns. Wood circles significantly reduce costs. Bone molds became too expensive. I've bought hundreds of these circles in various sizes (1 1/4", 1" and 3/4") for closed buttons and larger (1" and 3/4") for skull buttons (we don't know why they are so called) in the middle of which I drill small holes. The way I use them is a bit unusual and I'm glad they are available. Pros - good workmanship and quality control, finger friendly, smooth ,Slightly rounded edges that feel good in the hand and give a nice look when the fabric is pulled taut. They are great for embroidered buttons. The smooth hem gives the outer edges the stylish look of high quality vintage buttons.0.80 for Giving out a bone button shape is great value Cons - not really I've bought 500 already and once a few final ingredients arrive I'll be using them at an alarming rate Glad they're available.
