Review on 🌱 Enhance Plant Growth with our CO2 Generator System Carbon Dioxide Reactor Kit for Aquariums by Ashley Cook

Simple CO2 system in aquarium pumps and filters

This system is very easy to set up. The price is much higher than other "DIY CO2" installation, but worth the investment. The instructions could be better, but it's not difficult to figure out how to set it up first. My first load lasted about 3 weeks at about 45 bubbles per minute. My aquarium plants have grown significantly over this period and the stem plants that were below average are now lush. The best part of this kit is the inclusion of a solenoid valve that allows you to start the system with a timer. I believe mine turns on 1 hour before the lights turn on and off 1 hour before the lights turn off (plant photosynthesis time). The system contains almost everything you need. I replaced the hose with CO2 resistant hose and bought a drip tester to make sure I was dosing CO2 at around 30ppm which is the target range for plants to grow without harming the aquarium inhabitants. You should start dosing gradually as some fish/shrimp can be sensitive and need time to acclimate. The kit includes a plastic diffuser, sufficient; I plan to switch to glass in the future. Note that such a system does not generate enough pressure to use a CO2 atomizer. I've been experimenting to find out where is the best place to place a diffuser in an aquarium. You need enough flow to maximize the dissolution of gas in the aquarium water without allowing it to escape due to excessive surface agitation. Added: Now 5 months later I still really like this setup and use it non-stop with no issues. I got the diffuser through the Mr. Aqua CO2 and it really helped maximize the dissolution of CO2 in my aquarium. My plants are growing like crazy. I have to add liquid fertilizer and iron regularly, otherwise I see algae. My original rating stands.
