This device works! A dream come true when you try to find a leak in a supercharged air conditioner. In less than 2 minutes, this unit confirmed my car's under hood A/C lines were leak free, but found a subtle leak in the evaporator core that (because it's hidden behind a baffle) wasn't visible in the UV paint test . The manual is a little confusing (it mistakenly mentions "siren" as a leak indicator), but the device itself is dead simple to use - it's like a Geiger counter for refrigerant leaks (beeps as the probe gets closer to the leak faster).
