We certainly lost our lives a bit when the potato peeler test became the highlight of the day, but WOW! I finally used it today and (aside from adding a piece of shank to the beef stew) it was a great experience! A few months ago I paid five bucks for one at the grocery store to replace a paring knife I've had for half my life and couldn't get used to scratching my stomach. It was so depressing it wouldn't have hurt much anyway, but this one from OXO is like finding a long lost friend! It works! It peels off in long neat streaks! Hooray for new potato peelers!
