Crazy Loud, Moderate Power Boost

Contrary to some here, the welds on my pipe were in fair condition; no holes in the welds or anything like that. The pipe looked like it wouldn't line up, but the installation went smoothly. I recommend using the included hardware to brace the tail so you don't break the block where the tube meets it as that tube is long and creates a lot of torque on those bolts. This tube is incredibly loud, the decibel figures from the bikeberry.com test do not match it. Some of my friends are afraid to drive it in public places. Power is better, especially in the mid-range, and we were able to crank out 2 mph more than the stock pipe, ie from 24 mph to 26 mph. We also installed a new spark plug and adjusted the carburetor with an idle screw to keep it idling , and an electronic clamp on the needle to bring it to optimal conditions. Under heavy loads such as B. when driving uphill and accelerating hard, the noise changes from a pop, pop, pop to a weed eater noise. I'm not sure what that means exactly, but it might have something to do with the shape of the whistle. The sound difference isn't gradual either, it's a definite difference when it makes that sound. Also, the exhaust shoots straight into the rear tire and braking surface of the wheel, so I'll buy a rubber or silicone (or metal in a pinch) deflector to vent it away from the tire. And finally, this pipe burns the legs. I've already burned my thigh at least 3 times so I buy an exhaust pipe sleeve to wrap around the pipe to help with leg burns. 4/5 stars. I was expecting a bigger leap in performance.
