As a person who owns pets, I am always looking for novel and interesting supplies for my animals. Unfortunately, my most recent encounter with SubstrateSource did not live up to my expectations in any way. Their product range is outstanding; nevertheless, the quality of the customer assistance they provide is very poor. When I contacted customer service with inquiries regarding my order, I received responses that were both unhelpful and impolite. And don't even get me started on their shipping; I received my products many weeks after the estimated delivery date, and they were also in very poor condition. And despite the fact that they state they provide environmentally friendly solutions, I was dismayed to find that the majority of their products were not in any way sustainable. In the end, I'm not in a position to suggest SubstrateSource to other people who own pets. There is a large number of alternative available online pet businesses, many of which provide better prices, a wider selection, and more helpful customer service.
