There are other brands that are much more expensive and this one does the same. In fact, for my 2015 Ford Explorer it fits in the bottom half of my stock air intake so it still uses the stock grille ducts. More expensive alternatives remove the entire storage box and simply suck hot air out of the engine under the hood. Highly recommended! Sounds cool, but not too loud, and yes, the performance is significantly better.
