Dollar Store Quality

In general I would say that this set is functional for occasional use. If you're the type who rarely uses tools, this set gives you peace of mind that it'll be in the garage in case you decide to fix it yourself. The light blue box also looks good on the shelf. Place it where you see it from time to time for added convenience that you can actually fix things when they break. The quality seems to be something from a dollar store. It's not the worst set of sockets available, but it's far from the best. The sockets themselves are all 6-point (a good thing). The approximate size is indicated on a light outlet. The position of the size markings is uneven from socket to socket, as is the depth and clarity of the stamp. It is also worth noting that the SORAKO brand is not missing on the heads, nor on the extensions, nor on the holders of 1/4 inch bits, nor on the universal bits. It's only on the ratchet handle and spinner handle. Each part has "Chrome Vanadium". it's stamped on it (the universal sign of a cheap tool). The box looks cool but not that practical. The first thing that struck me was how much bigger she is than she should be. materials and a waste of shelf space. Another problem is that short sockets are very difficult to remove from the case, as they dig so deep that it's difficult to get your fingers underneath. Coupled with the fact that most of them are very snug, this means that on cold mornings you'll need a tool to pry the outlet out of this beautiful blue box. To my credit the size of the box has readable large letters underneath it I should also mention that the deep rosettes are easy to remove because you can slide your fingers all the way under, also because the case is so big. The ratchet seems to be quite well made. It is 72 teeth with a rubber coated plastic handle. The socket eject button works in the same way as a direction change switch. The ratchet is by far the best tool in the set in terms of quality. However, there is no logical reason for the small hole in the handle. Don't beat yourself up trying to figure something out. can you hang it on a clothespin? How about attaching a hand strap? Just stop. It's nice that the spinner's handle has a 1/4" drive socket in the handle, which allows it to be used as an extension. The plastic handle is very square and not ergonomic. Successful fix.
