I have a small house. Part of that includes a small finished basement. I needed some better lighting and thought it was time to upgrade some of the brass fixtures. The ceilings are not super tall, so I wanted a white and minimalistic light that would blend into the ceiling. This thing was cheap. Lemme tell ya somethin, I didn't really pay attention to the brightness but HOLY COW. My husband refers to it as the sun, so be prepared y'all. I actually bought 2 of these but the other did not fit where I wanted it to go (thankfully, or it would really be bright in that area), so we put the other in the unfinished part that definitely needed more light. Love LEDs, shouldn't have to replace for several years. Pretty easy install too, and no missing parts. Lightweight fixture. I'd buy again, but educate myself better on the lumens or whatever lol
