Review on Aluminized Fiberglass Sheet: Efficient Adhesive Backed Heat Shielding Mat for Hose and Auto Use (Silver, 24 x 48 Inch) by Richard Gross

I ordered two of these flexible heat shields for the side panels of new kitchen cabinets. The small 12 x 24 piece was rolled into a tube and is fine. The larger 24 x 48 sheet was packed in a box. Other customers expressed dissatisfaction that the creases in the folded sheets never fully smoothed out when applied and, mmmm, looked ugly. Since the sides of my cabinets will never be visible, I didn't care (although your comments are correct). More importantly, the 24" x 48" sheet was actually only 24" x 46" — two inches shorter than advertised. . Possibly incorrectly measured or incorrectly cut at the factory, as well as a one-off defect. AMZ was kind enough to arrange a free replacement, but it still beats my project.
