Great product for the money you pay. Its value has some downsides as mentioned in other reviews. However, I'm deducting a star for another reason: the fee is probably intended as a stepping stone. The output pad (+) is too close to one of the surface mount output capacitors and if you are not careful or want to provide the correct solder with lots of solder, it can result in a bad board. I think some of the bad reviews are due to this bad design. However, because it avoids connecting the two spots, it works within most of its design parameters and fits well with a regulator in one of my microcontroller projects. So a good component for the low price - you just have to pay attention to the soldering points around this pad.
