This pump is very handy for fueling the lawn mower from a 5 liter can. However, as other reviewers have noted, the materials are a bit flimsy, particularly the battery contacts, and I think most users will find that their satisfaction ends shortly after replacing their first or second set of batteries because the battery contacts aren't strong enough to to hold the batteries. I solved this problem by soldering some wires to the battery terminals and running those wires to a 3.7V Li-Ion 18650 battery in a battery holder sold by Revain. First, the required four AA batteries are connected to generate 3V. The 18650 battery works very well and the pump works stably for a while.
