These floor mats are perfect for the 2013 V6 Accord Coupé. The disadvantage of Honda OEM all-season tires is that they are too small and do not cover the vehicle floor adequately. Weather Tech floor mats may offer the best protection, but they have an industrial finish, probably perfect for a truck, but not what I was looking for. MaxSpider mats look great. almost like a carpet, but waterproof. They offer much more protection than OEM floor mats. Another plus is that they have a special backing that prevents them from slipping. Honda doesn't provide a locking mechanism for the passenger mat like they do for the driver's side, but even without this mechanism, the mat stays in place. The downside of many rugs bought cheaply from a mass market retail store is that they don't stay in place. Now you have to get used to not constantly adjusting the position of the carpets. The only downside to MaxSpider mats that I see is that they flex a bit. If you spill a lot of liquid, you may need to use a sponge and scoop it up before removing the floor mats. (Not so hot what's up). Dirt particles can also get under the mat at the edge of the mat near the door. Overall, MaxSpider mats are a great purchase.
