Mazda Speed ββ3 Boost!
, installed CAI on my 08 Speed3 a few years ago. Mazda's stock filter is a standard paper cone filter. You could hear the induction. Over time, the normal cone filter has become unusable. K&N has breathed new life into CAI (pun intended). The intake noise is more pronounced and you can feel that the machine is a little more responsive. The filter survives the engine.
