I have my fathers old metal contour gauge that I've been using for the past several years. The problem with that is, is that it doesn't lock so when I use it then draw the outline, the teeth move and my measurements are off. This gauge is great! It's not only easy to use, but with the lock, I can accurately draw the outline for measuring my floor tile. I get perfect cuts every time.
