I was thrilled to get this small, inexpensive spiralizer instead of buying pre-cooked zucchini noodles from Whole Foods. I used it and it turned out to be mush. I was very unhappy. Then I realized I was trying to use cucumber instead of zucchini! (I know.) I tried it with zucchini and I'm so happy! I have a small kitchen in my apartment and don't need any additional equipment. So that's ALL anyone needs unless you have the 2 minutes it takes to use it. It comes in a small cotton bag with a knife and a top that pushes out leftover veggies as you near the end.
