I chose this product because it is small; does not take up much space and comes with a storage bag and a cleaning brush. The brush is important because the blades are sharp. Don't use your fingers to remove stuck food. In most cases, it washes out easily. I used it for zucchini and cucumber noodles for salads. I liked it so much that I sent it to my daughter.

Decent compact spiralizer. Works best with softer things like zucchini, but can also handle carrots or potatoes. The size requires purchasing the straightest, thinnest products, and the "twist like a pencil sharpener" can be a bit unwieldy on slippery peeled zucchini (I didn't find the "handle" you put in the end of the product ). useful). But it's easy to peel, love the included peeler and it makes pretty decent spiral vegetables.

I wasn't sure if zucchini noodles were any good, so this tool sat in my drawer for six months before I finally worked up the courage to try it. It's worth it! I'm not sure I would have used them on a day when I was craving carbs, but on a typical day they were excellent, hardly a veggie flavor could mess up the meat sauce. I was thrilled to get this small, inexpensive spiralizer instead of buying pre-cooked zucchini noodles from Whole Foods. I used it and it turned out to be mush. I was very unhappy. I've used this for "zoodles" (zucchini noodles) and it worked great. I didn't use a cap, instead holding the zucchini in my hand as I cut it. It is very easy to use and works like a manual pencil sharpener. I'm a safety expert and haven't seen any safety issues with the blade design - I suppose you could cut yourself, but in normal use this would be difficult.
