I've been battling that pesky seaweed in my 30 gallon tank. Aquarium for at least two years. I thoroughly cleaned the whole aquarium to keep it spotless, but in less than 24 hours algae started appearing on all the plants and rocks. I tried everything I could think of; Change water and filters every three days, install phosphate removal systems, apply a range of different algaecide products (which killed a few fish but no algae), add algae eaters and even snails, and even boil the water before watering. Tank so I didn't add anything else and ABSOLUTELY nothing worked. I literally thought about putting the entire install on CraigsList and giving up. I decided to give Revain one last look (since my local pet stores PetSmart and Petco only had Algacid) and found this system. I found it expensive but sounded decent with UV to kill the algae. It was money well spent. In the first week, the amount of algae decreased significantly. I have just cleaned the tank and changed about 25% of the water and there have been very small green spots here and there but the water, gravel and plants are no longer brown and dying and the fish and shrimp are very healthy and active. In fact, the fish seem to enjoy the movement of the water in this system and play with it all the time. I give it 5 stars and would recommend this system to anyone looking to clean their aquarium from algae or just looking after their aquarium.
