Review on 🖨️ Enhanced DURAMIC 3D PETG Filament 1 for Unmatched Printing Performance by Drew Poulin

Printer: Prusa i3 MK2S (all in stock). Received the roll today. Looks like a great thread. A few things struck me when I received the role. The winding on the spool is not very accurate. Especially when you compare it to Prusament threads (which are the gold standard). I first tried Prusament PETG's default settings to print a test model of a small boat. I picked up the letters from the bed. I thought maybe I'm doing something wrong. Prusament PETG in the Prusaslicer has a nozzle temperature of 240°C for the first layer, then 250°C for all other layers. I've read the reviews and seen that others have gone down. Going down I got spaghetti and the filament didn't even stick to the 3M 2090 blue tape. I did another test print with changed Prusament setting: 90°C bed temp and 250°C nozzle and it seemed better but the first layer still rising. one piece. I lowered the 1st layer print speed to 5mm/s (from 10mm/s), everything is fine. In the middle of the print I increased the nozzle temperature to 255°C and it got much better. I got a matte finish on the boat hull, which I believe is due to the filament not melting and bonding properly. The rest of the boat came out perfect at 255°C and a bed temperature of 90°C. I made a second boat at 257°C nozzle and 90°C bed (for the first and all layers) and the print was perfect. No stretch. Perfect layers. 4 out of 5 stars because the spool was not wound so cleanly. I also bought this for $16.XX with easy shipping.
