This is my first time cutting bowls and trays so I didn't know what to expect. I use this (and a collet extension) to make several interchangeable bowls and a chip and dip bowl. It takes a little practice to get used to the vibe, but aside from my own flaws, this beat is excellent. It follows the pattern very well and really eats wood. CMT makes a great product here and I just bought a CMT tipped bearing straight bit for outside work.
