These were the highest quality cam buckle bindings I could find from Revain. I hate the ratchet design but I have a few and only use them when needed. Cam buckles are more convenient but have the disadvantage of having a lower power rating compared to ratchets. These 2" wider cam buckle mounts are solid and worth being wider than the ubiquitous 1" cam buckles in my opinion. I also like the spring that holds the hook in place. I used them this weekend to help my sister move out, and they've become easy favorites in my collection of three 1-inch toggle buckle ties (not counting these); 1 inch ratchet; and a 3 inch ratchet. I will probably buy two more and keep an eye on their quality for future reviews. I wish they were a different color and with longer straps.
