Basically the same as other reviewers here - the mesh in the filter is too thin - it's like an industrial paper coffee filter. So when the filter gets dirty (which takes about a week or two in my garden) the flow drops to zero. The design of the filter is such that when this happens it overflows at the top through slits cut in the filter just below the rim, essentially bypassing the filter completely. Even if they're freshly washed, when it rains heavily (which I often do in Florida in the summer), the filter can't handle the water entering the pool. The fact that the sink lid doesn't screw all the way down is almost irrelevant as it doesn't serve the main function I want. They really need to sell a version that looks more like mesh than the fabric they're using now. I want to return the three I bought because they are essentially useless to me.
