Great for fat separators
I bought this to separate fat from juice in hamburgers, slow cooker beef and cooked turkey bone broth. This works GREAT! Hot liquids are no problem and the rubber valve shuts off oil and water. I wait for the fat to float to the top, then I pull the handle to return the meat juices to the meat or broth to the pot, and then I stop squeezing the handle and it closes again to release the fat to keep in the cup. where i can throw it away LOVE LOVE LOVE!
